SENANGIN TAIWAN aka RED DRUM

This fish has been tormenting me for quite sometime . I couldn't seem to land it. It kept on hooking off and at times breaking off .  Yesterday i went back to the pay pond in JUGRA with a vengeance. Changed my fly line because it was too elastic and equip myself with lots of surf candy. And I'm still using the flimsy and short TFO Bug-Launcher which is often bullied by big fish .

FLY FISHING.

Fly fishing is not just a way to catch fish for me , to me it's a passion. I for one enjoy the fishing rather than the actual catching of the fish . I've been fascinated by fly fishing since i was a little boy , but started fly fishing just a few years ago when i had the pleasure of meeting a fly angler called ZAM . He was the first person in malaysia i ever met who fly fished . My actual leap into fly fishing was influenced by another good friend of mine HAFIZ LOP when he asked me whether i wanted to buy a cheap fly fishing combo. Since then , I've been loving fly fishing and with any relationship spending a lot of time and money on it "lol" . Fly fishing and tying my own flies . And this blog is where i share my fly fishing experience and flies that i have tied .
